The following images are from an installation and photo-shoot I recently worked on. Our brief was initially inspired by the concept of a British Eccentric dinner party, quickly refining the iconic Union Jack as our main inspiration.
Our flag, two pieces of calico sewn together measuring 7 metres long by 4 metres wide, was hand painted and provided the perfect back drop to our minimalist yet elegantly industrial dinner setting.
A conscious decision to be consistent with the red, blue and white colour scheme proved an integral aspect of our work, with the repetition of colour and also line effectively communicating the simulation of British life and its eccentricities, both historically and in the contemporary world.
A bunch of us had fun in Tess' back garden, Sunday.

Tommy Ton of Jak and Jil is renowned for embodying the talent of being one of the most cutting edge fashion photographers making a distinct mark on the industry at present, and there is no shortage of inspiration I personally devour from his wonderful photographs. Spring has well and truly arrived and I can already feel the sun's rays lighting up my mind. Here are a few that are hitting home most at the moment.
